Adopt Lloyd (Ллойд)

Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 13 years

Kyiv and Kyiv region! Looking for a family! Lloyd has been living in the animal shelter since the first days of its opening. Gray, modest, tailless, Lloyd is a rather clever boy, but not very decisive. Sweet, gentle, good, kind. He is not for guarding the house, but rather for guarding the soul. It's easy to love him! He gladly accepts human love, just give him a chance! He is housebroken, knows a few simple commands, walks well with strangers on a leash. But all this is usual for him, and he needs a family! Caring and loving! Let it be small, let it be without pretension, but with a big heart and free time ready to spend on a dog. Lloyd deserves to have his own home and a loving family! Estimated date of birth - October 1, 2012. Coat color gray, medium size 55 cm at the withers. Vaccinated, microchipped, with a veterinary passport.

About Lloyd (Ллойд)

What life with Lloyd (Ллойд) looks like

Lloyd (Ллойд) is a medium-sized senior mixed breed dog waiting at Happy Paw Kyiv Oblast in Ukraine.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lloyd (Ллойд), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lloyd (Ллойд)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Happy Paw Kyiv Oblast handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lloyd (Ллойд) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lloyd (Ллойд) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Happy Paw Kyiv Oblast will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lloyd (Ллойд) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lloyd (Ллойд) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Happy Paw Kyiv Oblast early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lloyd (Ллойд) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (UK). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
