Logan

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 6 years

♂, born ca. 2/2020, lovable - active - social In Spain, Logan is a male mixed breed dog born around February 2020 with a shoulder height of approximately 30 cm. Logan appeared out of nowhere. Initially, he seemed a bit frightened and could not be caught, but with some patience, he finally came closer and could be secured. He was probably abandoned and left to fend for himself, as no one was looking for him or missing him. Since then, Logan has been eagerly waiting for a loving, adequate home and a cozy warm dog bed to live in security and well-being, happy. In the meantime, he has gotten used to everything and is just a very nice guy. Logan gets along well with all dogs and walks well on a leash. The cute and lovable dog is now looking for his final happiness, committed people who have a lot of time for him, challenge and promote him, teach him the dog multiplication table with calmness and patience, ideally combined with regular visits to the dog school, and integrate him actively into their daily lives, where Logan finally experiences the affection, love and care he has not had so far. Logan is compatible with dogs of both sexes. He would be happy to be matched with other socially confident, sovereign conspecifics, ideally of similar age and size. A loving home is being sought for Logan with active people who have a lot of time for him, as well as a desire and joy in joint activities with him and discover the world together, because he has probably not yet met much and is not a couch potato. A quiet rural home and environment would be desirable and ideal for him. Cats and/or small animals should not be present in his future home. Logan is neutered, vaccinated, chipped and tested for Mediterranean diseases. He is located in a refuge in Andalusia/Spain. The deposit for Logan is 580 euros. Do you want to give Logan a home? About Logan

What life with Logan looks like

Logan is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. in Berlin.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Logan, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Logan?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Logan on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Logan if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Logan already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Logan isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Logan and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
