Ik vind mensen namelijk heel gezellig, maar de buitenwereld is voor mij heel spannend. Verkeer, andere dieren, geluiden, noem het maar op of ik vind het spannend en reageer daar heftig op. Ze noemen mij weleens gekscherend “juffrouw hysterica”. Ik krijg hier medicatie voor en daardoor is mijn leervermogen toegenomen. Maar ik ben er nog lang niet. Iemand die nieuwsgierig is naar mij en houdt van een uitdaging. Ik verwacht van mijn nieuwe eigenaar dat die mij stap voor stap gaat begeleiden om de buitenwereld minder eng te maken. Hoe? Dat gaat u, net als ik nu, leren van mijn verzorgers. Bent u nieuwsgierig naar mij geworden? Leuk, ik kijk naar u uit! Het is belangrijk dat er niet veel verkeer of bijvoorbeeld honden voorbij mijn nieuwe huis gaan. Hoe minder prikkels, hoe beter. Ik kan dan mijn nieuwe huis en tuin als veilige haven beschouwen.
