I am Lori. My name is Lori and you may wonder why I am here at the animal shelter. Unfortunately, I had to leave my previous home because my beloved person passed away. Suddenly everything changed for me. 💔 I am a quiet and rather reserved female cat. My home was my safe little world - I only know apartment living and have lived there quietly with my person. I do not know other cats and therefore do not want to share my new home with other animals. If I am honest, I need a little time until I trust a person. Strangers make me skeptical at first and I prefer to withdraw. But if you give me the time I need and do not pressure me, you can slowly gain my trust. ❤️ I would love to spend my days relaxing in my scratching post. There I can sleep wonderfully, retreat and just enjoy my peace. I am not a cat that constantly needs action or entertainment - a quiet home and a dear person who takes me as I am would be the greatest happiness for me. That is why I am looking for a quiet home without other animals and without children, with a person who understands my cautious nature. Someone who gives me the time I need to settle in and who does not expect me to trust immediately. I am not looking for a replacement for my deceased person - but I dearly wish for a person who loves, cares for and nurtures me, just as my previous owner did. 🐾 Hallo, ich bin Lori Mein Name ist Lori und vielleicht fragst du dich, warum ich nun hier im Tierheim bin. Mein bisheriges Zuhause musste ich leider verlassen, weil mein geliebter Mensch verstorben ist. Für mich hat sich dadurch plötzlich alles verändert. 💔 Ich bin eine ruhige und eher zurückhaltende Katzendame. Mein Zuhause war bisher meine sichere kleine Welt – ich kenne ausschließlich die Wohnungshaltung und habe dort ganz in Ruhe mit meinem Menschen gelebt. Andere Katzen kenne ich nicht und möchte mein neues Zuhause deshalb auch nicht mit weiteren Tieren teilen. Wenn ich ehrlich bin, brauche ich ein bisschen Zeit, bis ich einem Menschen vertraue. Fremde Menschen machen mich zunächst skeptisch, und ich ziehe mich lieber zurück. Aber wenn du mir die Zeit gibst, die ich brauche, und mich nicht bedrängst, kannst du langsam mein Vertrauen gewinnen. ❤️ Am liebsten verbringe ich meine Tage ganz entspannt in meinem Kratzbaum. Dort kann ich wunderbar schlafen, mich zurückziehen und einfach meine Ruhe genießen. Ich bin keine Katze, die ständig Action oder Beschäftigung braucht – ein ruhiges Zuhause und ein lieber Mensch, der mich so nimmt, wie ich bin, wären für mich das größte Glück. Deshalb wünsche ich mir ein ruhiges Zuhause ohne andere Tiere und ohne Kinder, bei einem Menschen, der Verständnis für meine vorsichtige Art hat. Jemanden, der mir die nötige Zeit gibt, um anzukommen, und der nicht erwartet, dass ich sofort Vertrauen fasse. Ich suche keinen Ersatz für meinen verstorbenen Menschen – aber ich wünsche mir von Herzen wieder einen Menschen, der mich liebt, umsorgt und pflegt, so wie es mein bisheriger Besitzer getan hat.
