Adopt LUPITA 08.04.2025 52cm

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

LUPITA – the little wolf, blossoming slowly❣️ I am LUPITA – my name means “the little wolf.” And maybe that fits me better than one might think: quiet, cautious, watchful… but with a heart that longs for its own pack. I was discovered young and pregnant at the city animal shelter Ecosal. Alone, unsettled, and without protection. Thankfully, I was rescued in time before my fate was sealed. Since then, I’ve been in safety – and for the first time, I can feel that people can be good. I am a reserved female dog. I need a few days to thaw, to understand that I no longer need to fight. But when I gain trust, I slowly open up – and show my friendly, curious, and loving side. Then I seek careful closeness, enjoy cuddles, and begin to explore the world with gentle steps. And yes… I am beautiful. Very much so. My ears are said to be love-worthy here – and I believe they have a point. Maybe they are my little trademark, making me unforgettably unique. I am looking for a home that gives me time. People who have patience and let me come at my own pace. A life where I can learn how beautiful trust is. I want to belong – to a heart, to a family, to a home. I am LUPITA – the little wolf finally searching for her pack. Maybe with you. If you give me the chance, I will show you how much love is within me.

About LUPITA 08.04.2025 52cm

What life with LUPITA 08.04.2025 52cm looks like

LUPITA 08.04.2025 52cm is a large young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. in Waakirchen.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting LUPITA 08.04.2025 52cm, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about LUPITA 08.04.2025 52cm?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw LUPITA 08.04.2025 52cm on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt LUPITA 08.04.2025 52cm if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is LUPITA 08.04.2025 52cm already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if LUPITA 08.04.2025 52cm isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know LUPITA 08.04.2025 52cm and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
