Friendly with other dogs, agile, smart. Makkaroni looks like a brown short-haired dachshund on not so crooked legs. She has a very nice expression on her face.... She came to the animal shelter for spaying. The people who brought her never came back to pick her up and were no longer reachable by phone. What do you do in such a case? Naturally, the small female dog remains at the animal shelter and is cared for. Makkaroni has quickly and well adjusted to the shelter routine. She gets along very well with other dogs. But Makkaroni does not like to be petted, but if you have a spoon with wet food from a can, she comes and eats it. She barks a lot at strangers by the fence, but when someone enters her enclosure, she steps back. She still does not have enough trust in us humans. If she felt threatened, she would probably go forward. Still, her caretaker thinks that little Makkaroni is great: "....precisely because she is so unusual, and yet very social with the other dogs, and because she behaves so cleverly in contact with the caretakers, and because she immediately accepts routines and procedures." Makkaroni needs very special people who do not pressure her, but nevertheless give her small tasks every day and spend time with her. Her caretaker is convinced that Makkaroni will open up more quickly in a different setting than the animal shelter. Understandably, there should be no children in the house. We do not give up hope that the right people for the little one are out there. All are vaccinated, microchipped and have an EU passport. Verträglich mit anderen Hunden, agil, clever Makkaroni sieht aus wie ein brauner Kurzhaardackel auf nicht so krummen Beinen. Sie hat einen ganz lieben Gesichtsausdruck.... Sie kam zur Sterilisation ins Tierheim. Die Leute, die sie gebracht haben, holten sie danach einfach nicht mehr ab und waren für uns telefonisch nicht mehr erreichbar. Was tun in einem solchen Fall ? Natürlich bleibt die kleine Hündin im Tierheim und wird versorgt. Makkaroni hat sich auch schnell und gut in den Tierheimalltag eingelebt. Sie kommt sehr gut mit anderen Hunden klar. Aber Makkaroni kommt nicht zum Streicheln, aber wenn man einen Löffel mit einer Dose Nassfutter hat, kommt sie und isst es. Bei Fremden am Zaun bellt viel, aber wenn man ihr Gehege betritt, weicht sie zurück. Sie hat immer noch nicht genügend Vertrauen zu uns Menschen. Wenn sie sich bedroht fühlen würde, dann würde sie wahrscheinlich auch nach vorne gehen. Trotzdem findet ihre Pflegerin, das die kleine Makkaroni großartig ist : "....gerade weil sie so eigenwillig ist, und trotzdem sehr sozial mit den anderen Hunden und weil sie sich so clever verhält im Kontakt mit den Pflegern, und weil sie Routinen und Abläufe sofort annimmt." Makkaroni braucht ganz besondere Menschen, die sie nicht bedrängen, ihr aber trotzdem jeden Tag kleine Aufgaben stellen und sich mit ihr beschäftigen. Ihre Pflegerin ist überzeugt, dass sich Makkaroni in einem anderen Setting als im Tierheim schneller öffnen wird. Verständlicherweise sollten besser keine Kinder im Haus sein. Wir geben die Hoffnung nicht auf, dass für die Kleine die richtigen Menschen da draußen sind. sind alle geimpft, gechipt und haben einen EU-Ausweis. Sie werden altersentsprechend auf Mittelmeerkrankheiten gecheckt. Siehe dazu Info auf unserer Homepage.
