Mali & Bu

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 5 years

Mali & Bu are two guinea pigs looking for a new home together. Mali is very curious and friendly towards us animal caretakers. Bu is a bit more reserved and prefers to stay in the background at first. The two would also like to integrate into an existing group. In their new home, they would like a large outdoor enclosure with many hiding places and retreats, with experienced owners who can provide them with what they need. Before, the two guinea pigs need to be accustomed to outdoor living, as they have lived indoors so far. The new owners must be aware that these fascinating animals are mainly for observation and are rather calm. Therefore, we would like it if they are placed in a location with children, that these have learned how to handle animals calmly. If you are interested, please describe your experience in keeping them by email and send us the dimensions and photos of the enclosure by email to . Species: Guinea pigs Sex: male & female castrated Date of birth: 01.06.2021 & 27.02.2021 In the shelter since: October 2021

Art: Meerschweinchen Geschlecht: männlich & weiblich kastriert Geburtsdatum: 01.06.2021 & 27.02.2021 Im Tierheim seit: Oktober 2026

Frequently asked

Adopting Mali & Bu, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mali & Bu?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim und Tierhotel Arche Chur handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mali & Bu on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mali & Bu if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Tierheim und Tierhotel Arche Chur what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Mali & Bu already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Tierheim und Tierhotel Arche Chur directly what is included and what Mali & Bu still needs.
What happens if Mali & Bu isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim und Tierhotel Arche Chur early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mali & Bu and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
