On a private foster home in Baia Mare, four beautiful puppies are waiting to leave Romania and begin a new, better life. The siblings – Malik, Sanne, Stella, and Kimberly – urgently need support as they start their new lives, because no one wanted them. Fortunately, our Romanian staff found them in time and brought them to safety, as life on the streets is especially dangerous for puppies! Of course, we are determined not to rest until the young dogs are in safety and we have found a place for all four of them with loving people who will care for and love them and show them how wonderful life as a family dog can be. Malik is the smallest of the siblings and shows a more submissive nature, but he is still a lively, healthy, and beautiful little fellow. He has a friendly, open, and playful disposition and loves to play with his siblings. Malik has soft, blonde fur with a dark facial mask and is a particularly handsome male dog. From dark, round eyes, he looks hopefully into his future. Malik is about six months old and is expected to reach a medium size. Probably, Malik has not yet had any experiences with life as a house dog and knows little about house training and leash manners. But Malik is a very lively young male dog. With lots of love, understanding, and positive reinforcement, he will hopefully learn quickly what it means to be a good house dog. After the adjustment period, he will be looking forward to attending a positively working dog training class. Very soon, Malik will enter puberty, which can shake up everything he has learned so far. Rules will be questioned, and boundaries will be retested. With lovingly consistent upbringing, however, he can be well accompanied and supported in his development into a confident and reliable companion. Since we do not know the parent dogs, we cannot rule out guardian or herding dog genes for Malik. Both bring special traits: While guardian dogs are often very hardworking and closely oriented to humans, herding dogs are considered independent, vigilant, and more reserved towards strangers. Therefore, we wish for Malik a more rural, quiet home with people who have already familiarized themselves with the possible breed-specific traits and enjoy fostering and accompanying him accordingly. We are very happy that Malik and his siblings have developed so well, and we wish loving people who will take him in with love and patience, give him a family connection, a warm dog bed, nice walks, and – very important for a young dog – enough contact with fellow animals. Malik hatte Glück, denn gemeinsam mit seinen Geschwistern Sanne, Stella und Kimberly wurde er rechtzeitig in Sicherheit gebracht. Niemand wollte die Welpen haben und auf den Straßen Rumäniens hätten sie kaum eine Chance auf ein unbeschwertes Leben gehabt. Zum Glück wurden die vier gefunden und auf einer privaten Pflegestelle in Baia Mare untergebracht. Nun fehlt Malik nur noch eines: seine eigene Familie. Malik ist etwa 1 Jahr alt und misst derzeit rund 40 cm Schulterhöhe. Er ist der Kleinste seiner Geschwister und eher von der sanften Sorte. Mit seinem weichen blonden Fell, der dunklen Gesichtsmaske und seinen ausdrucksstarken dunklen Augen ist er ein besonders hübscher kleiner Rüde. Malik zeigt sich freundlich, verspielt und interessiert. Mit seinen Geschwistern versteht er sich bestens und genießt es, gemeinsam zu spielen und die Welt zu entdecken. Auch mit anderen Hunden kommt er gut zurecht. Fremden Menschen gegenüber ist Malik anfangs noch etwas schüchtern und vorsichtig. Gibt man ihm jedoch die Zeit, die er braucht, wird er zunehmend entspannter und zeigt sich interessiert an seinem Gegenüber. Man merkt, dass er neugierig ist und gerne mehr erfahren möchte, sobald er Vertrauen gefasst hat. Vermutlich kennt Malik das Leben als Familienhund bisher noch nicht. Dinge wie Stubenreinheit, Leinenführigkeit oder die vielen kleinen Regeln des Alltags wird er erst noch lernen müssen. Mit Geduld, Verständnis und liebevoller Anleitung wird er sich jedoch sicher gut entwickeln. Eine positiv arbeitende Hundeschule kann ihn dabei unterstützen und ihm zusätzliche Sicherheit geben. Als junger Hund befindet sich Malik noch mitten in seiner Entwicklung. Auch die Pubertät wird noch einige Herausforderungen mit sich bringen und manches Gelernte zeitweise auf den Kopf stellen. Mit liebevoller Konsequenz und klaren Strukturen lässt sich diese spannende Zeit jedoch gut gemeinsam meistern. Für Malik wünschen wir uns liebevolle Menschen, die ihm die Chance geben, in seinem eigenen Tempo anzukommen. Menschen, die Verständnis für seine anfängliche Unsicherheit haben und sich darauf freuen, einen freundlichen und sensiblen jungen Hund auf seinem Weg zu begleiten. Auch über eine Pflegestelle würden wir uns für Malik sehr freuen. Malik reist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht mit gültigem EU-Heimtierausweis. Die
