Malina is now in the cat house and is settling in. The stay at the shelter always starts with quarantine and forced contact (veterinary examination) and some bitter pills. It is not surprising that some cats are initially skeptical or defensive towards us. Malina's defensive behavior was completely appropriate and now she can experience that contact with us is not always bad. Our cat cuddlers are a big help: they can take more time for individual cats and have not left a bad impression on the cats. As soon as we have more information about Malina, we will report here. Spontaneous visits are not possible. If you are interested in Malina, the mediating colleagues are available for initial phone conversations from Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 17:00 and Saturday from 13:00 to 16:00. We ask you to keep to these times, as they are outside of regular business hours.

Der Aufenthalt im Tierheim beginnt immer erst in der Quarantäne und ist mit erzwungenem Kontakt (tierärztliche Untersuchung) und manch bitterer Pille verbunden. So ist es nicht verwunderlich, wenn manche Katzen uns gegenüber erstmal skeptisch bis abwehrend sind. Malina fand abwehrend absolut angemessen und darf und muss nun die Erfahrung sammeln, dass der Kontakt mit uns nicht immer schlecht sein muss. Unsere Katzenkuschler sind da eine große Hilfe: sie können sich mehr Zeit für einzelne Katzen nehmen und haben noch keinen schlechten Eindruck bei den Katzen hinterlassen. Sobald wir etwas mehr Informationen zu Malina haben, werden wir hier berichten. Spontane Besuche sind leider nicht möglich. Bei Interesse an Malina stehen die vermittelnden Kollegen für telefonische Erstgespräche von Montag bis Freitag von 14 – 17 Uhr und Samstag von 13 – 16 Uhr zur Verfügung.
