Malini

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 11 months

adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Malini has found her home! Her story: Malini could travel to her foster home in 86720 Nördlingen in early April. From here, she is now searching for her forever home. Malini is already house-trained, travels confidently in the car, goes well on the leash, and can already stay alone for a little while. But only with the only dog she also gets along very well. Perhaps she is a bit reserved towards unfamiliar people at first, but warms up quickly and then is a friendly, loving female dog. Malini is an absolute family dog. She loves to cuddle and is a rather quiet, unexcited female dog. Currently, she is 11 months old and weighs around 8 kg at a height of about 32 cm. She will definitely stay small. According to her age, she is now entering puberty. She is looking for someone who stands by her during this hormone chaos and provides the necessary understanding and support so that she can grow into a great dog. At the moment, one can still not notice any hormone chaos. She is very oriented towards the only dog at home and wants to do everything right. Malini would never deliberately annoy you. A visit to a positively working dog training class would certainly please her. Children living in the household should already be older to understand the new companion and not misunderstand. Although the foster family is also very nice, Malini still wants to find her own family where she can stay forever. She is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas, and she also brings her own EU pet passport. Against an adoption fee of 500 Euro, she can move in. Would you like to meet Malini? Then contact us. Many thanks, Kerstin K.! You gave Malini her sweet name. As of: 20.04.

Vielen Dank Kerstin K.! Du hast Malini ihren süßen Namen geschenkt. About Malini

What life with Malini looks like

Malini is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Malini, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Malini?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Malini on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Malini if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Malini already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Malini isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Malini and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
