MANDRAKE, a clingy little fellow with white fur speckled with reddish-brown markings, is up for adoption. Published on June 17, 2026, by VERO. This white cat, spotted with lovely reddish-brown markings, was born around March 1, 2024. Mandrake is cuddly, clingy—and highly devoted to his human companions. He’s neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. RESCUING MANDRAKE MANDRAKE is a tiny bundle of joy who deserves all the attention he can get. As often happens in stories like this, it was a foster carer who first spotted Mandrake (and his adorable freckles) at the beginning of 2026. At that time, he was extremely shy and wouldn’t eat unless he was completely alone. We’d planned to trap him and get him fixed, but due to lack of time, the procedure kept getting postponed. Everything changed when a company reached out to one of our volunteers: a cat had sneaked into their premises and triggered all the alarms. After reviewing the photos they’d taken, there was no longer any doubt—this was indeed our Mandrake. We quickly arranged for his trapping, and by March, the job was done. MANDRAKE’S PERSONALITY To our great surprise, this so-called feral cat turned out to be a real cuddlebug! In terms of personality, Mandrake is an adorable, playful cat who’s always seeking affection. However, he prefers to be the only cat in the home, as he’s a bit jealous and quite possessive. In his current foster home, he clearly shows that he “has his favorites.” Mandrake loves being around his humans—he purrs as soon as he’s in their presence, and to top it all off, he loves sleeping in their arms at night. What kind of family would suit MANDRAKE? This friendly, freckled cat would be perfect for a family with a house that has a garden or a spacious apartment (but without motion detectors!). Il est castré, identifié, vacciné, testé FIV/Felv négatif Le sauvetage de MANDRAKE MANDRAKE est un petit zigoto qui gagne à être connu. Comme souvent dans ce genre d’histoires, c’est une nourrisseuse qui a repéré Mandrake (et ses adorables taches de rousseur) au début de l’année 2026. À ce moment-là, il était très craintif et ne se nourrissait qu’une fois qu’il était seul. Nous avions prévu de le trapper pour le mettre en règle, mais, par manque de temps, l’opération avait été sans cesse reportée. Tout a changé lorsqu’une entreprise a contacté l’une de nos bénévoles : un chat s’était infiltré dans leurs locaux et déclenchait toutes les alarmes. Après avoir analysé les photos qu’ils avaient prises, il n’y avait plus de doute possible : c’était bien notre Mandrake. Nous avons rapidement organisé son trappage et, en mars, c’était chose faite. Le caractère de MANDRAKE À notre grande surprise, ce supposé félin sauvage s’est révélé être un vrai pot de colle ! Côté personnalité, Mandrake est un chat adorable, joueur et toujours en demande d’affection. Toutefois, il préfère être le seul chat de la maison, car il est un peu jaloux et un peu exclusif. Dans sa famille d’accueil actuelle, il montre clairement qu’il a « ses têtes ». Mandrake adore la compagnie de ses humains, il ronronne dès qu’il est en leur présence et, comble de tendresse, il aime dormir dans les bras la nuit. Quelle famille pour MANDRAKE ? Ce sympathique matou aux taches de rousseur serait idéal pour une famille avec une maison dotée d’un jardin ou bien un appartement spacieux (mais sans détecteur de mouvement ! ).
