02-05-2018 - Marcellina has been with us for just a few days, her tail is no longer hidden between her legs, but how hungry she is!!!! She eats as if there was no tomorrow, only she knows what she has suffered. Her little eyes are pearls of sweetness, her bones can be counted through her thin skin. How can one reduce a life like this, we will never understand. We need protein food, such as Starter from Royal or a/d from Hill's. We sincerely thank anyone who will help us. Click on the photos to enlarge them! 28-04-2018 - She arrived at the animal shelter last night, reported by the forest service. She appeared suddenly, a specter that was moving. For how long has she been desperately searching for help? She is a young female. The photos do not show her real condition, she is very emaciated, really energetic, she even had episodes due to low blood sugar. Undergoing tests, she tested positive for heartworm and ehrlichia. Certain situations hurt so much, how can one abandon a creature alone in the countryside to die of hunger and suffering? We will try, if we are still in time, to return her to life. Unfortunately, she is very underweight and when the situation is this serious, many problems can arise the moment the vehicle starts. She needs protein food, thanks to those who will help us. 02-05-2018 - Marcellina è con noi da pochi giorni, la codina non è più nascosta fra le gambe, ma quanta fame che ha!!!! Mangia come se non ci fosse un domani, solo lei sa cosa avrà patito. I suoi occhietti sono perle di dolcezza, le sue ossa si possono contare attraverso la pelle sottile. Come si fa a ridurre così una vita non lo capiremo mai. Abbiamo necessità di cibo proteico, tipo Starter della Royal o a/d della Hill's. Ringraziamo di cuore chiunque ci aiuterà. Da quanto tempo sarà alla disperata ricerca di aiuto? E' una femmina giovane. Le foto non rendono le sue reali condizioni, è cachettica, veramente provata, ha avuto persino delle crisi per calo glicemico. Sottoposta ad analisi è risultata positiva alla filaria e ehrlichia. Certe situazioni fanno tanto male, come si può abbandonare in campagna una creatura sola a morire di fame e stenti? Cercheremo, se siamo ancora in tempo, di restituirla alla vita. Purtroppo è molto sottopeso e quando la situazione è così grave, nel momento in cui la macchina si mette in moto possono insorgere tanti problemi.
