Marino

Unknown Β· Kitten Β· 6 months

Marino is a neutered tomcat who is busy playing during the day, but always likes to snuggle up on the lap in the evening. He is a busy bee and a real cuddle bug, when he feels like it! If you like to cuddle during the day, you might prefer his "foster brother" Sep. Marino prefers to play during the day and chooses his cuddle moments himself. Marino was found when he was about ten weeks old. He was left with a mother cat and two other litters of kittens in a bench by the side of the road. His birthdate is estimated to be May 1, 2026. He has found a very nice friend in Sep. The two can play wonderfully together and often sleep together. They have really become a good duo and are therefore looking for a new home together. The foster family also has a dog, other cats, and children. The children always approach him with respect and love, and Marino is therefore used to a family where animals are treated in a nice way. For Marino and Sep, we are looking for a loving home where they can grow up together, play, discover, and of course cuddle a lot. They have found each other and it would be nice if they could start their new adventure together. Marino has had three vaccinations and is neutered. If you click, he can move in right away. Are you curious about these two boys? You are welcome to meet Marino and Sep in their foster family in Gemert! Fill out the contact form below.

Vul snel onderstaand contactformulier in.

About Marino

What life with Marino looks like

Marino is a kitten cat waiting at Hokazo in Uden.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months β€” most shelters arrange this before adoption.

πŸ‡³πŸ‡±Adopting from Netherlands

Dutch shelters typically require a household assessment and an adoption contract. Animals are routinely sterilized, microchipped, and registered in the national pet database (NDG) before placement.

Frequently asked

Adopting Marino, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Marino?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hokazo handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Marino on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Marino if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” Hokazo will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Marino already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Marino isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hokazo early rather than rehoming privately; they know Marino and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
