Arrivé au refuge alors qu’il n’était pas encore sevré et atteint de teigne, il a dû être isolé pendant un certain temps. Cette période a fortement limité ses contacts et il n’a donc pas eu l’occasion d’apprendre les codes habituels de la vie avec les humains. Aujourd’hui, Marlay est hyperactif, très joueur et plein d’énergie. Il ne connaît pas encore bien les limites dans ses interactions : lorsqu’il joue ou s’excite, il peut griffer et mordre réellement, sans forcément comprendre que cela peut faire mal. Il aura donc besoin d’adoptants expérimentés avec les chats, capables de lui apprendre progressivement les bons comportements avec patience et cohérence. Son adoption se fera obligatoirement en duo avec un chat posé et plus âgé, qui pourra lui servir de repère et l’aider à apprendre les codes félins. Marlay a encore beaucoup à découvrir et à apprendre. Avec un environnement adapté, un compagnon félin équilibré et des humains qui sauront l’accompagner, il pourra progressivement trouver ses marques et apprendre à mieux gérer toute cette énergie !
