Marley and Otis

Guinea Pig · Male · Young · 1 year

Marley (smooth coated) and Otis (rough coated) are brothers born on October 4th, 2025. They get on very well and we are looking for a new home together. Prior to coming to us, they were used to living indoors. However, they would be happy living either inside or outside, as long as their accommodation is secure, warm, and spacious. Marley is the more confident of the two and enjoys being handled. Otis is sweet, though a little more shy at first. Both are used to living with children. They have both been seen by our vet and given a clean bill of health. Neither is neutered, so they cannot be housed with female guinea pigs.

Frequently asked

Adopting Marley and Otis, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Marley and Otis?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Windyway Animal Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Marley and Otis on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Marley and Otis if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Windyway Animal Rescue what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Marley and Otis already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Windyway Animal Rescue directly what is included and what Marley and Otis still needs.
What happens if Marley and Otis isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Windyway Animal Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Marley and Otis and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
