Since he was just five months old, Marosh has been waiting for his chance - for his very own family. He is about four years old now. Four years in which so many other dogs have already found their homes. His brother Elmo was able to win the lucky ticket and is doing wonderfully. And what about Marosh? He is still waiting. Quietly. Patiently. Hopeful. With a shoulder height of about 55 cm and a weight of 22 kg, Marosh has a nice medium size. A handsome puppy with gentle eyes and a very special aura. However, he knows very little of the big wide world outside. Since his puppyhood, he has lived in a foster home on a secure property - protected but with little stimulation. In his mixed group of dogs - from young to old, from small to large - he is consistently compatible. Other dogs give him security, orientation and stability. Strangers initially meet Marosh with shyness and reserve. Who can blame him? He has not experienced much in his previous life. New sounds, unknown environments, the normal everyday - all of this is still new to him. But he is making progress. Small steps that show courage. What he lacks is the time and individual support he could receive in a real family. People who let him come at his own pace. People who don't expect anything from him - except that he can simply be Marosh. His story starts sadly: Marosh and his brother were given to the vet by a breeder. When parvovirus was diagnosed in them, the breeder did not want to pay the treatment costs - he decided it was "not worth it" and planned to have them euthanized. But the vet stood up protectively for the two little souls. He treated them - and the two fighters made it. They survived. Since then, they have been healthy - and Marosh is waiting in the foster home with Raluca for his happy ending. Marosh is looking for a home in a rather quiet, rural environment. A place where he can come at his own pace. Many walks in nature, playing with dog friends, patient companionship in daily life and lots of cuddle time - that would be his little, great happiness. Dog training classes could help him gain confidence and continue to grow. A confident only dog by his side would be wonderful, but not a must - he would provide additional stability and show him how beautiful life can be. Marosh is in the best age, the stormy adolescence is behind him. With patience, empathy and a loving, positive reinforcement parenting style, he will develop into a loyal companion who wants to go through thick and thin with his humans. A foster home could also be the decisive stepping stone for him into a new life. Marosh is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and treated for fleas. He has an EU pet passport and can be adopted after a positive assessment. Due to his short tail, he cannot enter Switzerland. Four years of waiting is enough. Vier Jahre wartet Marosh schon auf seine Chance – dabei hat er so viel Liebe zu verschenken. Aus dem unsicheren Welpen ist ein wunderbarer, loyaler Hund geworden, der seinen vertrauten Menschen eng verbunden ist und ihnen mit ganzem Herzen vertraut. Wer sich die Zeit nimmt, ihn kennenzulernen, erlebt einen sanften, treuen Begleiter, der sich immer mehr öffnet und Schritt für Schritt zeigt, was für ein großartiger Hund in ihm steckt. Der etwa 4-jährige Rüde ist ca. 55 cm groß und wiegt rund 22 kg. In seiner Hundegruppe lebt Marosh völlig problemlos mit den unterschiedlichsten Hunden zusammen. Er ist sozial, verträglich und genießt das Leben in der Gemeinschaft. Andere Hunde geben ihm Sicherheit und Orientierung, weshalb ein souveräner Ersthund für ihn eine schöne Unterstützung sein könnte. Menschen, die ihm mit Ruhe, Geduld und Einfühlungsvermögen begegnen, gewinnen nach und nach sein Vertrauen. Wird Marosh nicht bedrängt und darf alles in seinem eigenen Tempo entdecken, öffnet er sich immer mehr und zeigt seine verschmuste, loyale Seite. Genau diese Chance hatte er bisher nie. Seit seiner Rettung lebt er in einer geschützten Umgebung und kennt das Leben in einer eigenen Familie bis heute nicht. Seine Geschichte begann tragisch. Gemeinsam mit seinem Bruder Elmo wurde Marosh als Welpe von einem Züchter aufgegeben, als beide an Parvovirose erkrankten. Die Behandlung erschien dem Züchter nicht lohnenswert – stattdessen sollten sie eingeschläfert werden. Doch ein Tierarzt rettete den beiden das Leben. Elmo durfte inzwischen seine Familie finden. Marosh wartet noch immer. Für Marosh wünschen wir uns ein ruhiges, geduldiges und empathisches Zuhause, idealerweise in einer eher ländlichen Umgebung. Menschen, die ihn nicht verändern möchten, sondern ihm die Zeit geben, Vertrauen aufzubauen und endlich ein artgerechtes Hundeleben kennenzulernen – mit Spaziergängen, gemeinsamen Erlebnissen, einem weichen Körbchen und der Sicherheit, für immer angekommen zu sein. Wir sind überzeugt, dass Marosh diese Chance nutzen und sich zu einem außergewöhnlich treuen Begleiter entwickeln wird. Marosh reist kastriert, gechippt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht mit seinem EU-Heimtierausweis in sein neues Zuhause.
