Martha (born 12/2019), about 50–55 cm tall, is a calm, friendly, and initially reserved female dog who has been overlooked for far too long. She comes from the large rescue operation at the Public Shelter Targu Jiu, exactly three years ago. There she was one of many: black, quiet, cautious. For some, she was "fearful"; for us, she was simply a dog who never got the chance to show who she really is. But that picture is no longer accurate. Since her move to Gradistea, Martha has made remarkable progress. She allows herself to be touched and petted without any problems, cautiously seeks closeness, and shows how hard she is trying to build trust. The video proves how far she has already come. Martha has worked, hoped, and persevered. Now she is at a point where her spirit is almost healed. Only one thing is still missing: a loving home or a sensitive foster home that will show her that all her efforts were not in vain. Martha is ready for her own life. Sie stammt aus der großen Rettungsaktion aus dem Public Shelter Targu Jiu – vor genau drei Jahren. Dort war sie eine von vielen: schwarz, still, vorsichtig. Für manche „ängstlich“, für uns einfach eine Hündin, die nie die Chance bekommen hat, zu zeigen, wer sie wirklich ist.Doch dieses Bild stimmt längst nicht mehr.Seit ihrem Umzug nach Gradistea hat Martha bemerkenswerte Fortschritte gemacht. Sie lässt sich problemlos anfassen und streicheln, sucht vorsichtig Nähe und zeigt, wie sehr sie sich bemüht, Vertrauen zu fassen. Das Video beweist, wie weit sie schon gekommen ist.
