Marvin is a wonderfully affectionate and gentle dog who loves being close to the people he trusts. He enjoys nestling beside you on the sofa, soaking up fuss and looking to his favourite people for reassurance. He has a lovely playful side too, enjoying soft toys and appropriate chews, and he particularly loves being groomed. Marvin can be a little unsure of new things and will need time, patience and a calm environment to build his confidence, but once he feels comfortable, his affectionate and puppyish personality really shines through. He would thrive with someone who can give him plenty of reassurance while helping him gradually develop his independence and confidence. Marvin enjoys the company of other dogs and can live with a well-matched, friendly and tolerant canine companion, with a preference for female dogs. He will benefit from quieter walks while he continues to gain confidence, and his new family should be prepared to support him with his reactions to other dogs and his strong interest in things that catch his attention.
