Some already know me; I'm Mateus. I was found on the road in terrible condition. Skinny, hairless, with injuries all over my body, anemic, and plagued by numerous ailments. One of those illnesses is leishmaniasis. They've already treated me, and I've recovered. Now I just take some pills every month and can live until the end of my days like this. They say around here that no one wants to adopt a dog with leishmaniasis, and I'll stay here at the our shelter animal rescue association shelter. Honestly, I hope for something different. That someone will look me in the eyes and say: come here, my sweetie ❤️ Mateus was found on the roadside near Sesimbra, in this state... Super sad and dejected, a being in suffering. When he arrived at the shelter and we showed him our love, he transformed into a happy being. Who saw, won't forget. He tested positive for leishmaniasis. Treatment has already begun, but he needs help. The cost is around 500€, including the tests. Please support Mateus. Donate to Mateus, please.

Alguns já em conhecem, sou o Mateus Encontraram-me na estrada em péssimas condição. Magro, sem pelo, o corpo com ferias, anémico e outras tantas maleitas. Uma dessas doenças é a leishmaniose. Já me fizeram o tratamento e recuperei. Agora só tomo uns comprimidos por mês e posso viver até ao fim da minha vida assim. Dizem por aqui que ninguém quer adoptar um cão positivo a leishmaniose e que ficarei por aqui no abrigo da Associação. Eu sinceramente espero outra coisa. Que alguém me olhe nos olhos e diga: vem cá meu docinho ❤️ O Mateus foi encontrado na berma da estrada, perto de Sesimbra com o seu corpinho neste estado.. .Super triste e cabisbaixo, um ser em sofrimento. Quando chegou ao abrigo e lhe mostrámos o nosso amor ele transformou-se num ser feliz. Quem viu não esquece Testou positivo à leishmaniose. Já começou o tratamento mas precisa de ajuda.
