Our Maunzi hasn't had an easy life – not because she doesn't want to, but because she simply can't do what she'd like to. 😿 When she came to us at the animal shelter our shelter, we thought her occasional "paw strikes" were just a grumpy phase. But as she started to hurt herself more often – for example, by biting her own tail – it became clear: something was wrong. A veterinary examination revealed the sad truth: Maunzi has a spinal injury that causes her these painful behaviors. Currently, she is being treated with medication and has already been introduced to a specialist. 💊🐾 Despite this, Maunzi is full of energy, curious, and playful! 🎉She loves to dash across carpets, chase her toys, and watch pigeons at the window for hours. If she is treated with respect and her "off-limits tummy" is avoided, she will snuggle at your feet and even playfully roll onto her back. ✅ What Maunzi now needs: people with cat experience who can handle her disability 🙋‍♀️ A free-ranging spot in a cat-safe, quiet environment – not suitable for apartment living! 🌳🚪 Preferably a place without other animals 🐾 Lots of patience, understanding, and love – for that, there's plenty of personality and playtime to give back 🎀 Maunzi is no ordinary kitten, but a very special soul that simply needs the right people. ❤️ 📞 Would you like to meet Maunzi, make a donation, or have questions? Unsere Maunzi hat es leider nicht leicht – nicht, weil sie nicht will, sondern weil sie manchmal einfach nicht kann, wie sie gerne möchte. 😿 Als sie zu uns ins Tierheim Theo kam, hielten wir ihre gelegentlichen „Pfotenhiebe“ für zickige Phasen. Doch als sie sich immer häufiger selbst verletzte – etwa durch das Beißen in den eigenen Schwanz – war klar: Etwas stimmt nicht. Eine tierärztliche Untersuchung brachte die traurige Wahrheit ans Licht:Maunzi hat eine Verletzung an den Lendenwirbeln, die in schmerzhaften Schüben zu diesen Verhaltensweisen führt. Momentan wird sie medikamentös behandelt und wurde bereits einem Spezialisten vorgestellt. 💊🐾 Trotzdem ist Maunzi voller Lebensfreude, neugierig und verspielt! 🎉Sie liebt es, über Teppiche zu flitzen, ihre Spielsachen zu jagen und stundenlang Tauben am Fenster zu beobachten.
