FACTSHEET: ALL ABOUT Max Pictures (click to enlarge previews) Would you like to give Max a home of his own? Max is a gentle, calm and unassuming dog. He was a little afraid of people when he first moved into the village but now is open and likes attention. He is very quiet and really felt comfortable laying on a dog bed in the days that we took him in for recovery. He didn’t bark at all and enjoyed human company, his tail would wag when we visited. He even tried walking on leash a little to go in and out of the vet. WE decided to advertise him for adoption as he seems a bit lonely on the street and more suitable as a pet dog. Max appeared on the street in a Greek village in 2023, either a pet dog dumped there or he wandered in from a fringe community teeming with stray dogs. He moved into the village and people started feeding him. We sterilised and blood tested him in October 2024 and released him back into his neighbourhood. His age is an estimation by the veterinarian. Max currently lives free in the village, as this is best available option for him right now. If reserved, we will find foster space for him until he can leave for his home.
