A MAYA was found on the street with her babies. They were then rescued by the Municipal dog shelter. All the puppies were adopted and as is common, the mother remains for last. The MAYA stayed almost a year at the dog shelter waiting for a family that never came. We accepted to take the MAYA in at the Cantinho. She is a very gentle, social female dog, behaves very well on leash walks. Everything suggests that she had a family in the past as she loves human company. However, we have already realized that the MAYA can't be left alone at home, she destroys everything! She is also very agile and tries to jump over fences. The ideal home for the MAYA would be a retired family with a yard, who spends a lot of time with her. If there is company from other dogs, even better. The MAYA will be delivered vaccinated, dewormed, spayed and with a microchip.

A Maya foi encontrada na rua com os seus bebês. Foram então resgatados pelo Canil Municipal. Tosos os cachorros foram adoptados e como é comun a mãe fica para último. A Maya esteve quase um ano no canil à espera duma família que nunca chegou. Aceitámos acolher a Maya no Cantinho. É uma cadela muito meiga, sociável com todos os cães, porta-se muito bem nos passeios de trela. Tudo dá a entender que já teve uma família no passado pois adora companhia humana. Contudo já conseguimos perceber que a Maya não pode ficar sozinha em casa, destrói tudo! Também é muito ágil e tenta saltar vedações. O ideal para a Maya seria uma família reformada com quintal, que passa muito tempo com ela. Se houver companhia de outros cães, melhor ainda. A Maya será entregue vacinada, desparasitada, esterilizada e com microchip.
