Maya will geliebt werden

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 2 years

female dog, geb. ca. 2024, ca. 45–50 cm, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, vor travel arrangements Test auf Babesiose, Borreliose, Ehrlichiose, Anaplasmose, Dirofilarien und leishmaniasis Over Maya will be loved! Maya lived in a city shelter in Romania until one day she was discovered by our tireless animal rescuer Manuela. She saw Maya's sad gaze and could not leave her at such a terrible place. So she took her, even though her house was always overcrowded with dogs. And so she found another transitional solution for Maya: she now lives on a glassed-in balcony with a animal friend until she finally finds her own home. Maya shows herself to be people-oriented and clingy there. She adapted to her new situation without complaint, even though she would certainly prefer more interaction and human contact. Unfortunately, that is not possible because many cats also live in the apartment, which Maya has already growled at. We do not know if she has a general problem with cats or only with the cramped and unfamiliar living situation. Perhaps she is also a little insecure and jealous. For sure, she would like to have a family all for herself. Maya already runs wonderfully on a leash and learns her first commands quickly. She can already sit and give high fives. One gets the feeling that she wants to make it right for her people and begs for their attention. When she meets other dogs at the park, she usually reacts neutrally, sometimes even curiously and friendly. She responds happily to barking dogs. And of course, there are also fellow animals that she does not like. Loud noises, other people, or children's noise do not bother Maya. For Maya, we are looking for dog-experienced, loving people without other pets who can give her their full attention and provide her with security. Ideally with a house and garden. We would also be happy with a foster home. Maya is still in Romania.

About Maya will geliebt werden

What life with Maya will geliebt werden looks like

Maya will geliebt werden is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at SOS-Strassentiere e.V. in Berlin-Köpenick.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Frequently asked

Adopting Maya will geliebt werden, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Maya will geliebt werden?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SOS-Strassentiere e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Maya will geliebt werden on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Maya will geliebt werden if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SOS-Strassentiere e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Maya will geliebt werden already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Maya will geliebt werden isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SOS-Strassentiere e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Maya will geliebt werden and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
