Melinda Sue arrived at the shelter with some unwanted passengers (parasites). Now that she's parasite-free, she scratches and itches much less and can finally grow big and strong. As a Kangal puppy, she still has a lot of growing to do in terms of size and weight. Given the numerous parasites and nutritional deficiencies, we assume Melinda Sue has had a good home so far. Although she's initially shy around strangers, she quickly trusts people and is very affectionate. She loves to be close to her humans, whether on an exploration walk or snuggled up under the shelter desk. Melinda Sue gets along well with other dogs, but she won't share her food. She's still learning to be alone for age-appropriate periods and needs to learn many things. She's playful, curious, fearless, and people-oriented. We're looking for people who want a large dog that tends to be watchful but can live with the family indoors.

Mit einigen blinden Passagieren (Parasiten) kam Melinda Sue zu ins Tierheim. Nachdem sie die nun los ist, kratzt und juckt sie sich deutlich weniger und kann endlich groß und stark werden. Denn als Kangalkind hat sie noch einiges vor was Größe und Gewicht angeht. Aufgrund den zahlreichen Parasiten und der ernährungsbedingten Durchtrittigkeit gehen wir davon aus, dass Melinda Sue bisher gutes Zuhause hatte. Obwohl sie bei fremden Menschen anfangs etwas schüchtern ist, fasst sie schnell Vertrauen und ist dann sehr anhänglich. Am liebsten ist sie ganz nah bei ihren Menschen, sei es bei einem Erkundungsspaziergang oder Gesellschaft unter dem Tierheimschreibtisch. Mit anderen Hunden versteht sich Melinda Sue sehr gut, ihr Futter möchte sie aber auf keinen Fall teilen. Altersentsprechend kann sie noch nicht alleine bleiben und muss noch sehr viel lernen. Dafür ist sie verspielt, neugierig, unerschrocken und menschenbezogen. Für Melinda Sue suchen wir Menschen, die einen großen Hund suchen, der dazu neigt wachsam zu sein, trotzdem mit der Familie im Haus leben darf.
