Dejan Huella Castro Input 1 January 2026: On 17 October 2025, the hunter who owned Milagros brought her to the animal shelter. He said he no longer wanted her; she was no longer useful for hunting. There was barely space for another dog in the animal shelter, but we did what we could. She spent a few days in a kennel run in the yard until we found a larger kennel run for her. She had a hard time with the hunter; her eyes reveal sadness, but she is still very kind and gentle. She plays with all the dogs in the animal shelter, males and females, big and small, and always wants to cuddle. Sometimes she gets scared, for example, when we drop branches or hear a loud noise. She is spayed and fully vaccinated. Milagros is a very kind and well-behaved girl. She needs a family and must learn the warmth of a home. Although she receives a lot of love from the volunteers at the animal shelter, that can never compare to the warmth of a home.

Er was nauwelijks ruimte voor nog een hond in het asiel, maar we moesten doen wat we konden. Ze bracht een paar dagen door in een kennel in de tuin totdat we een grotere kennel voor haar hadden gevonden. Ze heeft het moeilijk gehad met de jager; haar ogen verraden verdriet, maar ze is nog steeds heel lief en goedaardig. Ze speelt met alle honden in het asiel, reuen en teven, groot en klein, en wil altijd knuffelen. Soms schrikt ze, bijvoorbeeld als we takken laten vallen of een hard geluid horen. Ze is gesteriliseerd en volledig gevaccineerd. Milagros is een heel lief en braaf meisje. Ze heeft een gezin nodig en moet de warmte van een thuis leren kennen.
