Milou is a bichon mix we have decided not to neuter due to his age. However, we have opted for chemical castration which will need to be repeated annually. He came to the Oasis due to the poor health of his owners. He is a small dog who is gentle and affectionate once he has settled in. Milou needs a calm home with lots of presence, but no children, as our grandpa can sometimes be grumpy. He enjoys being cuddled, but does not like handling such as when his nails are cut or when he goes to the veterinarian. You will need to be gentle, patient and with the help of a second person. For walks, Milou is visually impaired, so he must be walked with great care and always on a leash. In terms of health, he has some minor issues due to his age and needs a renal diet. If you are looking for a constant companion, Milou is made for you.

Milou est un caniche croisé bichon dont nous avons décidé de ne pas castrer vu son âge. Nous avons cependant opté pour la castration chimique qu’il faudra répéter annuellement. Il est arrivé à l’Oasis suite à la mauvaise santé de ses propriétaires. C’est un petit chien doux et affectueux une fois qu’il aura pris ses marques. Milou a besoin d’un foyer calme avec beaucoup de présence, mais sans enfants, car notre papy est parfois soupe au lait. Il se laisse avec plaisir cajoler, mais n’apprécie pas les manipulations comme par exemple quand on lui coupe les griffes ou les rendez-vous chez le vétérinaire. Il faudra s’y prendre avec douceur, patience et avec l’aide d’une deuxième personne. Pour les balades Milou est malvoyant, il devra être promené avec une grande vigilance et toujours en laisse. Niveau santé, il a quelques petits bobos dus à son âge et a besoin d’une nourriture rénale. Si vous cherchez un compagnon de tous les instants Milou est fait pour vous.
