This feline had integrated his family at the age of three months in 2019, but it seems that time has eroded this relationship. His mistress, faced with loneliness after the departure of her children, considered Milou as a burden she had to get rid of. Alerted by a worried neighbor seeing this four-legged companion abandoned in the city or worse, lost forever, we decided to intervene. We contacted his family, insisting that he should keep the cat until a solution for hosting or adoption was found. Time was running out for Milou, who risked being thrown out the door the next day. We therefore took the lead and took Milou before he knew the street. He was taken to Sylvia, who generously agreed to be his Foster Family until his adoption. A big thank you to her for her commitment and affection towards Milou. What is a Foster Family (FA)? Then, a visit to the veterinarian was essential. Milou had never seen a veterinarian before. This visit to doc'cat allowed us to regularize his situation: Milou was castrated, identified and tested negative for FIV/FELV tests. Although seven years old, this senior is in perfect health and is waiting for a new family ready to welcome him with love and affection. His ideal adoptive family: Milou is a gentle cat and he has lived with big children so a family with or without children will suit him. Il recherche sa famille d’adoption avec ou sans enfants, prête à lui donner toute la tendresse qu'il n'a jamais reçue avant son arrivée en famille d’accueil. Ce félin avait intégré sa famille dès l’âge de trois mois en 2019, mais il semble que le temps ait effrité cette relation. Sa maîtresse, confrontée à la solitude après le départ de ses enfants, considérait Milou comme un fardeau dont elle devait se débarrasser. Alertées par une voisine inquiète de voir ce compagnon à quatre pattes abandonné dans la cité ou pire, perdu à jamais, nous avons décidé d’intervenir. Nous avons contacté sa famille, insistant sur le fait qu’elle devait garder le chat jusqu’à ce qu’une solution d’accueil ou d’adoption soit trouvée. Le temps était compté pour Milou, qui risquait d’être mis à la porte du jour au lendemain. Nous avons donc pris les devants et récupéré Milou avant qu’il ne connaisse la rue. Il a été conduit chez Sylvia, qui a généreusement accepté d’être sa Famille d’Accueil jusqu’à son adoption. Un grand merci à elle pour son engagement et son affection envers Milou. Qu’est ce qu’une Famille d’Accueil (FA) ? Ensuite, une visite chez le vétérinaire était indispensable. Milou n‘avait jamais vu de vétérinaire jusqu’alors. Ce passage chez doc’chat nous a permis de régulariser sa situation : Milou a été castré, identifié et testé négatif aux tests FIV/FELV. Bien qu’âgé de sept ans, ce senior est en parfaite santé et n’attend plus qu’une nouvelle famille prête à l’accueillir avec amour et tendresse. Sa Famille d’adoption idéale : Milou est un gentil chat et il a vécu avec de grands enfants donc une famille avec ou sans enfant pourra lui convenir. Il pourra vivre en maison ou en appartement à condition de sécuriser les fenêtres.
