Gender: female Origin: Romania Location of the dog: Romania Child-friendly: not tested Cat-friendly: not tested Gets along with other dogs: yes Disability: no Additional information: The sweet puppy has turned into an agile and playful young female dog. She is still looking for a family. Hope has not abandoned her yet. Call us - a rough diamond is waiting for you. -------------------- The siblings - Malia, Minty, Matias, Marcus, Margarita, Mel, Melvin, Mindy, and Miska urgently need a family. These cute puppies are normal, playful little ones. They enjoy playing together and love cuddling in groups. Very playful and adorable puppies, a small ball of fluffy fur and many legs. They still have much to learn about the world out there, but they are not afraid to explore it. ♥ They were found when they were approximately two weeks old. However, as soon as they opened their eyes to the world, their mother was taken away - captured by dog catchers and brought to a killing station. The nine puppies were left alone in the field, hidden in tall grass, huddling together cold, hungry, and defenseless. Their cries could be heard far and wide - but nobody came. Not yet. Time was against the local animal welfare workers. They found out where the mother of the puppies had been taken, and we knew that we only had little time to act before it was too late. With pounding hearts, they rushed to the animal shelter and prayed that the mother was still alive. And she was. Shaking, frightened, and desperate - but alive. While efforts were made to reunite them, the babies clung to life. For five days, they were fed around the clock with a bottle, and attempts were made to keep their tiny bodies warm and their bellies full. Each hour counted. Every drop of milk was a chance at survival. And then the miracle happened. After much back and forth, the mother, Marilou, approximately 55 cm tall, was rescued from the animal shelter. She was immediately reunited with her puppies. When she saw them, Marilou weakly wagged her tail and dove onto her little ones, licking them while they squeaked and crawled over each other to reach her. Their tiny mouths snapped up eagerly, and for the first time in days, they drank their mother's milk, safe in her warmth. What a joy to witness this. Today, all nine puppies are healthy, lively, and agile. They eat solid food, play, and wag their tails like little storms of joy. They have names, they have personalities, and they are looking for their own family. They have survived the unthinkable, but they are not victims. They are little fighters. They seek a forever home where they will never again be abandoned. Who would like to share their life with Minty? She joyfully awaits the one call that will change everything. Our dogs travel vaccinated, microchipped, neutered (if they are of sufficient age), and with vaccination certificates to their new homes.

What life with Minty hübsches Hundemädel looks like

Minty hübsches Hundemädel is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutz La Palma e.V. in Hüllhorst.

Frequently asked

Adopting Minty hübsches Hundemädel, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Minty hübsches Hundemädel?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutz La Palma e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Minty hübsches Hundemädel on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Minty hübsches Hundemädel if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutz La Palma e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Minty hübsches Hundemädel already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Minty hübsches Hundemädel isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutz La Palma e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Minty hübsches Hundemädel and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
