Miriam liebenswerte junge Hündin Estimated Birth Date: 04.2025Shoulder Height: approx. 40 cm, still growing. Spayed: Yes. Gender: femaleOrigin: RomaniaRescue Location: Foster family in RomaniaChild-friendly: no problem with larger childrenCat-friendly: yesGets along with other dogs: YesDisability: noMiriam was found as a small puppy at a train station by one of our foster parents, who took her home with them on the train. She is healthy and lively. The pretty girl is now waiting to be microchipped, vaccinated, and spayed for her own family. The foster mom describes Miriam as a playful, friendly, and sweet female dog. The age is estimated and based on the local animal welfare workers' experiences. The parent dogs are not known to us.Miriam gets along with cats, other dogs, and also has no problems with understanding children. Of course, she still needs to learn the German doggy basics. Her future people can teach her all those many things lovingly. They should enjoy walks through field and forest. She would be happy to be rehomed to a nice only-dog home, but also as a single dog into a new home. Then, however, social contacts with other fellow animals should be ensured. The little one is very charming; she should grow up in a family, collect new impressions, and make experiences. That is why we hope she will be discovered and travel soon. We can only place her in a rural area with an enclosed garden. The city life is unknown to the pretty girl.Who would like to share their life with Miriam? Our dogs travel vaccinated, microchipped, spayed (if they are in the required age), with vaccination certificate to their new home.

About Miriam liebenswerte junge Hündin

What life with Miriam liebenswerte junge Hündin looks like

Miriam liebenswerte junge Hündin is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutz La Palma e.V. in Hüllhorst.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Miriam liebenswerte junge Hündin, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Miriam liebenswerte junge Hündin?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutz La Palma e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Miriam liebenswerte junge Hündin on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Miriam liebenswerte junge Hündin if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutz La Palma e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Miriam liebenswerte junge Hündin already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Miriam liebenswerte junge Hündin isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutz La Palma e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Miriam liebenswerte junge Hündin and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
