Video of Mirian: Mirian came to our foster home after her eye was surgically removed. The wound has now healed nicely, the stitches have been removed, and she’s ready to be adopted. We can’t yet share much about Mirian and her personality because she hasn’t been with us for very long. Mirian is a beautiful Cypriot kitten; her estimated date of birth is June 9, 2026. She loves being picked up and immediately starts purring when you pet her. Mirian enjoys playing by herself—she doesn’t need much to keep her entertained. A toy mouse or a shoebox filled with crinkly paper is all she needs to be thoroughly happy. In addition, we have Penny in our foster home; like Mirian, Penny also had an eye removed. Together, they get along wonderfully, happily chasing each other around and sometimes getting into a little mischief together. How wonderful it would be if Mirian and Penny could be adopted together! However, they can also be placed separately—if Mirian or Penny is to be adopted alone, they must be kept as indoor cats or in a cat-safe, enclosed garden where they can go outside. This is because Mirian can’t see at all on one side of her field of vision and therefore wouldn’t notice traffic in time. It’s truly for her own safety. Starting August 18, 2026, Mirian will be available for adoption. By then, she’ll be microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, and vaccinated. For the final vaccination and her spaying procedure, you’ll receive a voucher redeemable at one of Hokazo’s affiliated veterinarians. Interested in Mirian? Filmpje van Mirian: Mirian is bij ons in het pleeggezin terecht gekomen nadat haar oogje operatief verwijderd was. De wond is ondertussen mooi genezen, de hechtingen zijn eruit en is ze klaar om geadopteerd te worden. Over Mirian en haar karakter kunnen we nog niet veel vertellen omdat ze nog niet zolang bij ons is. Mirian is een prachtig cypers poesje, haar geschatte geboortedatum is 25-5-2026. Ze laat zich graag optillen en begint meteen te spinnen als je haar kroelt. Mirian kan goed alleen spelen, daar heeft ze niet veel voor nodig, met een speelgoedmuisje of een schoenendoos met ritsel papier erin is zij zeer tevreden. Daarnaast hebben we Penny in ons pleeggezin, ook bij haar is er een oogje verwijderd. Samen kunnen ze het goed vinden lekker achter elkaar aan rennen en soms samen een beetje ondeugend zijn. Hoe fijn zou het zijn als Mirian en Penny samen geadopteerd kunnen worden! Maar ze mogen eventueel ook alleen geplaatst worden Mirian en of Penny mag alleen als binnenkat geplaatst worden of in een situatie waarin ze naar buiten kan in een voor katten veilig afgezette tuin, dit omdat ze aan 1 kant van haar gezichtsveld helemaal niets ziet dus ook verkeer te laat opmerkt. Het is dus echt voor haar eigen veiligheid. Vanaf 5 augustus 2026 mag ze geadopteerd worden. Mirian is dan gechipt, ontwormd en ontvlooid en heeft een enting gehad. Voor de laatste enting én voor haar sterilisatie krijg je een tegoedbon mee, te gebruiken bij één van de aangesloten dierenartsen van Hokazo. Geïnteresseerd in Mirian?
