Adopt Molly

Mixed Breed · Female · Senior · 11 years

Molly mixed breed – female dog born around January 1, 2015, shoulder height 50cm, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, EU-Heimtierausweis. Molly was found on the street; she was sometimes fed, but her life was not easy. Molly now lives in a private foster home with our partner organization Animal Life Sibiu, alongside loving children and several other dogs. She has settled in very well and enjoys life and walks. Molly also plays with the other dogs and has no problems in everyday life. However, when it comes to eating, she does not want another dog next to her, and when she wants to rest, she wants to rest and shows it to the other dogs. Molly had to give up everything throughout her life and had to protect everything she had "accumulated." For this reason, we wish for Molly a home as a single dog who still needs dog contact. But more important is the affection and love of people. Molly has earned her own people so much. Molly is still fit and an absolutely friendly dog; she has no illnesses and looks forward to inquiries.

About Molly

What life with Molly looks like

Molly is a senior mixed breed cat waiting at Anytime for Animals e.V. in Großefehn.

Senior cats are the gentlest house guests: predictable, mostly silent, and grateful for a sunny windowsill. Older cats often have minor dental or kidney issues — keep an eye on water intake and weight. Many sleep eighteen hours a day and want no part of any drama.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Molly, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Molly?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Anytime for Animals e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Molly on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Molly if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Anytime for Animals e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Molly already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Molly isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Anytime for Animals e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Molly and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
