Monika is a female rabbit born on an unknown date, living at the shelter since September 13, 2026. She was found in mid-September and was initially paired with a male rabbit. Unfortunately, her partner passed away, and she returned to the shelter on October 6. We hope to find a new home for Monika soon, as she is a friendly and easy-going rabbit who gets along well with others. However, she is not a cuddly rabbit and does not like to be touched or picked up. Monika is a suitable candidate for outdoor housing with plenty of space to hop, dig, and hide. She is vaccinated against RHD and Myxomatosis and has a negative parasite test. A shelter fee is charged per animal to protect the animals and cover costs. We also require a deposit before the animal is transferred.

Kaninchen Geboren: unbekannt im Tierheim seit: 13.09.2026 weiblich Monika kam Mitte September als Fundkaninchen zu uns. Es hatte zuvor einige Zeit gebraucht, ehe man sie in Simbach sichern konnte. Wir hatten uns sehr für Monika gefreut, dass sie nach kurzer Zeit zu einem verwitweten Kaninchenbock vermittelt werden konnte. Leider war ihnen das Glück nur kurze Zeit vergönnt, weil ihr Partner verstarb und sie zurück ins Tierheim kam. Nun hoffen wir, dass das süße Kaninchenmädel schnell eine neue Chance bekommt. Monika ist ein sehr verträgliches, rangniedriges Kaninchen und völlig unkompliziert bei der Vergesellschaftung, da sie jedem Konflikt aus dem Weg geht. Sie ist jedoch kein Kuscheltier und möchte nur sehr ungern angefasst oder hochgehoben werden. Für Moni wird ein Platz in Außenhaltung mit viel Platz zum Umherhoppeln, Buddeln und auch Versteckmöglichkeiten. Natürlich sollte mindestens ein weiteres Kaninchen zur Gesellschaft vorhanden sein. Monika ist gegen RHD und Myxomatose geimpft und auf Parasiten negativ getestet.
