Montana was rescued from a euthanasia center along with several other dogs and came to us. She has not had many positive experiences with people in her young life, so she is initially a bit reserved around strangers. She is a dog that requires patience to gain her trust, but once you do, it's for life! Montana is social with other dogs, but likes to take the lead in a group, the ideal would be a home where she is the only dog or with one other dog. She needs a owner who can guide her and raise her in a consistent manner, set clear boundaries. A quiet home in a rural area with a large garden would be a great haven for her!

Montana werd samen met enkele andere hondjes uit het dodingstation gered, waarna ze bij ons terecht kon. Ze heeft in haar jonge leven nog niet veel positieve ervaringen opgedaan met mensen, waardoor ze in het begin wat afwachtend is tegenover vreemden. Ze is een hond waar je wat geduld zal moeten uitoefenen om haar vertrouwen te winnen, maar eens ze dat doet, is het voor het leven! Montana is sociaal met andere honden, maar neemt graag de leiding binnen een groep, het ideale zou een thuis zijn waar ze enige hond is of met één andere hond. Ze heeft een baasje nodig die haar kan begeleiden, en haar op een consequente manier opvoedt, duidelijke grenzen kan stellen. Een rustige thuis, in een landelijke omgeving en met een grote tuin zouden voor haar een geweldige thuishaven zijn!
