What Monty needs to be happy: Monty has a strong protective instinct and wants to reliably guard his home and his people. Because his current living situation (open floor plan without a retreat area) intensifies this tendency, we are looking for people who: Have experience and confidence in handling large, strong-willed dogs. Can offer a home with clearly defined boundaries and places to retreat. Ideally own a large, fenced yard or garden where Monty can freely expend his energy. He loves to run around outside! Would gladly have a second, confident dog for Monty to look up to. His territorial instinct, especially towards strangers and male visitors in the house, must be guided with loving consistency, structure, and training. Er ist an der Leine ein Musterknabe und zeigt sich im Haus von seiner besten Seite. Er kann mehrere Stunden alleine bleiben, macht nichts kaputt und ist stubenrein. Er ist ein wahrer Familienhund, der seine Menschen über alles liebt, besonders die Kinder der Familie hat er in sein großes Herz geschlossen! Was Monty braucht, um glücklich zu sein: Monty hat einen ausgeprägten Beschützerinstinkt und möchte sein Zuhause und seine Menschen zuverlässig bewachen. Da seine aktuelle Wohnsituation (offener Grundriss ohne Rückzugsort) diese Veranlagung verstärkt, suchen wir Menschen, die: Erfahrung und Souveränität im Umgang mit großen, charakterstarken Hunden mitbringen.
