Monty was found in the district of Šaca in the city of Košice. When he arrived at the shelter, he was emaciated and had a lot of fleas. He is a young, active, and cheerful dog who lives his life to the fullest. He loves to play, chasing other dogs, and enjoys every opportunity for fun. He also likes toys, but above all, he is most motivated by food. From the start, he was very friendly and sociable towards people. He genuinely looks forward to meetings and shows his joy by jumping. He pulls on the leash and it’s clear that he hasn’t had much experience with it in the past. However, he is young, smart, and with regular work, training, or visits to the training ground, his behavior can certainly be improved. He gets along without any problems with other dogs, both male and female. During feeding, he guards his bowl against other dogs, but he doesn’t show any unwanted behavior towards people, and it’s possible to manipulate the bowl without any issues. Inside, he behaves well, doesn’t damage things, and with regular walks, he has good hygiene habits. Monty is looking for a home in an apartment or a house with indoor access. He is suitable for active people who will provide him with enough movement, shared activities, and attention. For his energy and enthusiasm for life, he will repay with many shared experiences and will be a great companion for every day.

Monty sa našiel v košickej mestskej časti Šaca – Záhradky. Keď prišiel do útulku, bol vychudnutý a mal na sebe množstvo kliešťov. Je to mladý, aktívny a veselý psík, ktorý si život užíva naplno. Rád sa hrá, naháňa s ostatnými psíkmi a teší sa každej príležitosti na zábavu. Má rád aj hračky, no zo všetkého najviac ho dokáže motivovať jedlo. K ľuďom bol od začiatku veľmi priateľský a kontaktný. Zo stretnutí sa úprimne teší a svoju radosť dáva najavo aj skákaním. Na vodítku zatiaľ ťahá a je vidieť, že s ním pravdepodobne v minulosti nemal veľa skúseností. Je však mladý, šikovný a pri pravidelnej práci, výchove alebo návšteve cvičiska sa to určite dá pekne zlepšiť. So psami aj fenkami vychádza bez problémov. Pri kŕmení si stráži svoju misku voči iným psom, voči ľuďom však neprejavuje žiadne neželané správanie a s miskou je možné bez problémov manipulovať. Manipulácia je bezproblémová. Vo vnútri sa správa slušne, veci neničí a pri pravidelnom venčení má hygienické návyky. Monty si hľadá domov v byte alebo v dome s prístupom dovnútra. Vhodný je k aktívnym ľuďom, ktorí mu doprajú dostatok pohybu, spoločných aktivít a budú sa mu venovať. Za svoju energiu a nadšenie zo života sa odvďačí množstvom spoločných zážitkov a bude skvelým parťákom na každý deň.
