Deze mooie, middelgrote kruising is Molly. Ze is 8,5 jaar oud (geboren op 01-01-2018). Molly is bij ons binnengekomen omdat haar vorige eigenaren te weinig tijd voor haar hadden en de gezinssituatie was veranderd. Molly komt oorspronkelijk uit het buitenland, maar woont al vele jaren in Nederland. Molly is een zachtaardig meisje. Ze is enorm knuffelig en graag bij je in de buurt. Daarnaast gaat ze ook heel graag mee op pad. In het begin had ze geen goede conditie, dus hebben wij deze rustig opgebouwd. Tijdens het wandelen loopt ze over het algemeen netjes aan de lijn. Ze houdt van rennen en gaat daarom regelmatig mee naar de polder om lekker te sjezen aan een lange lijn of rollen in de modder. Richting andere honden is Molly sociaal en zien wij haar echt opleven. Wel kan ze in sommige situaties angstig of onzeker reageren, met name bij harde geluiden. Vuurwerk is dan ook niets voor haar. Wanneer ze samen met een andere hond wandelt, zoekt ze regelmatig contact. Grote honden vindt ze wat spannender, vooral wanneer deze ook druk zijn. Haar voorkeur gaat daarom uit naar middelgrote of kleinere honden. Molly kan tijdens het spelen zelf ook wat opdringerig zijn en luistert niet altijd wanneer een andere hond zijn grens aangeeft. Hierin moeten wij haar nog begeleiden. Ondanks dat zou zij mogelijk bij een andere hond geplaatst kunnen worden. Uiteraard zal tijdens een kennismaking moeten blijken of er een goede match is. Hoewel Molly vriendelijk is, kan ze soms wat onbehouwen zijn. Daarom plaatsen wij haar liever bij een gezin met wat oudere kinderen, vanaf ongeveer 14 jaar. Haar vorige eigenaar gaf aan dat ze vooral contact zocht met één persoon en de andere gezinsleden grotendeels negeerde. Dit zien wij niet terug in de opvang. Wel is het dus mogelijk dat zij binnen een gezin meer naar één bepaald persoon toe trekt. Molly kan na gewenning ongeveer een halve dag alleen thuis blijven.
