This is Tonneke a handsome 5-year-old tomcat whose name says it all, but he is also quite tonneke round. He currently weighs 9.2 kg, so it's important that he loses weight. Therefore, we are looking for a home for him with owners who will help him in this process. Together with the vet, we have devised a diet plan to give Tonneke the best chance. For now, his target weight is 7 kg, as he needs to lose a lot of weight, he can only follow 1 specific diet: Hills metabolic. This diet is specially designed for cats that need to lose weight but still need to get all necessary nutrients. To achieve this weight, the plan is to feed him 87 grams per day, which are only kibble. To prevent him from getting hungry, it's helpful to divide this over about 6/7 portions. This can be done, for example, with a food dispenser if the opportunity to do it yourself is not available. Besides eating, of course, moving is also part of the weight loss process, so encourage him as much as you can by playing with him. Dit is Tonneke een knappe kater van 5 jaar oud en zijn naam zegt het al, maar hij is ook tonneke rond. Hij weegt momenteel 9,2 kg, daarom is het belangrijk dat hij gaat afvallen. Dus zoeken wij een huisje voor hem met baasjes die hem daarin willen helpen. Samen met de dierenarts hebben we een dieetplan samengesteld om Tonneke zijn beste kans te geven. Voor nu is zijn streefgewicht 7 kilo, omdat hij zoveel gewicht moet verliezen mag hij alleen 1 specifiek dieet volgen: Hills metabolic. Dit dieet is speciaal voor katten die moeten afvallen, maar dat ze nog wel alle nodige voedingsstoffen binnen krijgen.
