Moona is a 2-year-old domestic cat, a calm and gentle panther-type female who came to the shelter on June 23 with her litter. For the first few months, Moona was shy around people, focusing only on caring for her kittens. As the kittens grew, Moona began to show interest in playing and interacting with people. However, she is not yet comfortable with petting. Watching out the window from the glassed-in balcony is important to Moona, so her new home should have a similar feature. Currently, Moona is still wary of strangers and does not tolerate approach attempts. Moona will not be adopted as a single cat, although there is no information about her behavior with adult cats. Ideally, she would move to a new home with her female kitten Öpö. The move to a new home will become relevant after the kittens are ready for adoption. Moona has used the litter box properly from the beginning and is not picky about food. She has been dewormed several times, vaccinated, tested for Fiv/Felv (negative) and microchipped. Sterilization will be performed later before adoption. Moona can be met in Jyväskylä. Moona on noin 2 vuotias populaatiotaustainen rauhallinen ja kiltti pantterineito, joka tuli ensikotiin 23.6 yhdessä pentueensa kanssa. Ensimmäiset pari kuukautta Moona arkaili ihmisiä keskittyen vain pentujensa hoitoon. Imetyksen pikkuhiljaa vähentyessä nuori äiti on alkanut kiinnostua leikkimisestä ja on pyrkinyt ottamaan kontaktia ihmiseen yhä enemmän. Silittämisen asteelle ei sentään olla vielä päästy. Pihalle katselu lasitetulta parvekkeelta on Moonalle tärkeää, joten uudessa kodissakin tulisi olla sellainen. Toistaiseksi Moona suhtautuu vieraisiin ihmisiin vielä suurella varauksella eikä suvaitse lähestymisyrityksiä. Moonaa ei luovuteta ainoaksi kissaksi vaikka toistaiseksi ei olekaan tietoa sen suhtautumisesta toisiin aikuisiin kissoihin. Toivottavaa olisi jos se voisi muuttaa uuteen kotiin yhdessä tyttöpentunsa Öpön kanssa. Omaan kotiin muutto tulee ajankohtaiseksi sen jälkeen kun pennut ovat luovutusvaiheessa. Moona on alusta asti käyttänyt hiekkalaatikkoa moitteettomasti eikä nirsoile myöskään ruuan suhteen. Se on madotettu useampaan kertaan, rokotettu, testattu Fiv/Felv (negatiivinen) ja sirutettu. Sterilisaatio tullaan tekemään vielä myöhemmin ennen luovutusta. Moonaa pääsee tapaamaan Jyväskylässä.
