Morgana

Russian Blue · Female · Adult · 9 years

Meet Morgana Beautiful Morgana is a 10-year-old girl who is now ready to find her forever home. Morgana has recently had a bilateral pinnectomy (removal of the outer parts of both ears) due to benign, non-cancerous cysts. She recovered incredibly well from her surgery and is now looking forward to the next chapter of her life.Morgana is a very sweet, calm and gentle girl who would love nothing more than a quiet home with her special person. She enjoys sitting beside you, having a gentle fuss and, of course, finding a comfy lap to snooze on. Because Morgana no longer has her outer ears, it isn’t always obvious from her facial expression or ear position how she is feeling. Her new family will need to be aware of this and take the time to learn her individual body language and cues. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm, affectionate cat to share their home with. Morgana is looking for:A quiet, peaceful homeA calm and loving person who will give her time to settleSomeone who will learn to understand her body languageAn adult-only home — no young childrenTo be the only pet in the householdMorgana has been through a lot and deserves a peaceful, loving forever home where she can simply relax, feel safe and enjoy being someone’s special girl. About Morgana

What life with Morgana looks like

Morgana is a adult russian blue cat waiting at RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Morgana, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Morgana?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Morgana on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Morgana if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Morgana already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Morgana isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Northamptonshire Branch early rather than rehoming privately; they know Morgana and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
