Adopt Motti

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 2 years

Gender: Female Age: born ca. July 2023 Breed: mixed breed / Herdenschutzhund Motti has been waiting a long time for her luck. She has been in the animal shelter since she was a puppy. She is such a beautiful female dog. Motti, born ca. July 2023, lives in GREECE, in the city animal shelter Serres. The siblings Motti, Oak, Pine, Maple, Chestnut, and Poplar were found together with their mother Emma in a village. To provide them with medical care and to give them a better life, the family was subsequently brought to the city animal shelter of Serres/Greece. There they now spend their days behind bars, hoping for an appropriate life in freedom. Help us give each of them a life worth living. Motti had already spent the puppyhood in the animal shelter, she now finally needs to find her heart's people who she so desperately seeks. Motti is an enchanting female dog with a beautiful, white, and fluffy coat. Her right side of the face and her ear are in a soft brown tone, making her an absolute sight. But that's not all – Motti also has funny crooked ears, which give her a very special charm. The sweet young female dog is very social and gets along well with other dogs at the moment. Motti may seem a bit shy at first, but she has a very friendly character. She just needs a little time to build trust. But once she warms up, she will surely wrap you around her finger with her loving nature. Since Motti has not yet had much experience with the shelter life, she needs a lot of love and patience to settle into her new home. It is important that she gets enough time to adapt to her new environment. A quiet and structured environment will help her feel more secure over time. If you are ready to give Motti a loving home and meet her special needs as a Herdenschutzhund-mixed breed, then don't hesitate to contact us. Motti is eagerly waiting to find her family for life. Due to her size and appearance, Motti could be a Herdenschutzhund-mixed breed. We will be happy to clarify the special characteristics of these wonderful dogs with you in a personal conversation. Note: You will be redirected from our side.

About Motti

What life with Motti looks like

Motti is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzverein Hunde in Not Rhein-Main e.V. in Bad Vilbel.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Motti, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Motti?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Hunde in Not Rhein-Main e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Motti on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Motti if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Hunde in Not Rhein-Main e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Motti already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Motti isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Hunde in Not Rhein-Main e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Motti and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
