Character description for foster family: Muis & Mittens came to us as very young kittens with a respiratory infection. Soon it became clear that the pair also had ringworm. After months of treatment and recovery, Mice and Mittens are finally ready for a new home. After such a turbulent start, you might expect Mice and Mittens to be uncertain and distant... nothing could be further from the truth! This pair is extremely social, affectionate, and love people. They visibly enjoy attention, find visitors very pleasant, and prefer to play with their humans. Playing is an extremely important part of their day, but both also love cuddling moments. This is accompanied by loud purring and love bites (from Mittens). We are looking for a cozy, loving household where someone is usually at home. Mice and Mittens can be kept as indoor cats, provided they receive enough space, stimulation, and play opportunities. An enclosed balcony or garden would be greatly appreciated, but is not a must. We expect the pair to be placed well with children of all ages.

Karakterbeschrijving gastgezin: Muis & Mittens kwamen als piepjonge kittens bij ons binnen met niesziekte. Al gauw bleek het koppel óók schimmel (ringworm) te hebben. Na maanden van behandelen en herstel zijn Muis en Mittens eindelijk klaar voor een nieuw thuis. Na zo’n turbulente start zou je verwachten dat Muis en Mittens onzeker en afstandelijk zouden zijn… niets is minder waar! Dit duo is ontzettend sociaal, aanhankelijk en dol op mensen. Ze genieten zichtbaar van aandacht, vinden visite maar al te gezellig en spelen het liefst samen met hun mensen. Spelen is een uitermate belangrijk onderdeel van de dag, maar beiden zijn ook dol op knuffelmomenten. Dit gaat gepaard met luid gespin en liefdesbeetjes (van Mittens). We zoeken voor dit koppel een gezellig, liefdevol huishouden waar vaak iemand thuis is. Muis en Mittens kunnen als binnenkatten gehouden worden, mits ze voldoende ruimte, uitdaging en speelmogelijkheden krijgen. Een afgesloten balkon of tuin zullen ze erg waarderen, maar is geen must. We verwachten dat het koppel prima bij kinderen van alle leeftijden geplaatst kan worden. Ga terug
