Nadine

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 7 years

The lovely Nadine wishes for a basket for life! Nadine was handed over by animal lovers to our Spanish partner animal shelter. She is a beautiful young female dog. The sweet Nadine shows herself to be a happy and open-minded dog soul. Nadine reacts positively to other dogs. The beautiful female dog enjoys affection and also walking and longs for human closeness. The shelter should only be a short stop for Nadine, because the friendly female dog needs much more than the shelter environment can offer. She wants to get to know life and at the end of the day be able to fall asleep happily and loved in a soft basket. Therefore, we are looking as soon as possible for a loving home for the young female dog. This home should allow Nadine to arrive there in peace. Surely Nadine will have to learn a lot and she will need the positive support and companionship of her people. With her future family, Nadine would like to explore the world and discover it for herself. Paw by paw, the loving dog can grow into her new life world. Nadine wants to be supported and challenged. She wishes a family that goes through "thick and thin" with her and has a lot of fun with an active life with a dog. A dog friend in her future home would certainly make Nadine happy. Paw by paw into a happy dog life, this you want to enable for Nadine, then we look forward to your inquiry. Adopting a rescue dog always means taking on a special responsibility and can also become a challenge. The dogs bring a backpack with past experiences or unlearned situations and need time to adjust to their new life. If you have a serious interest in adopting Nadine, please contact the responsible mediator of SALVA Dog Help. We would also greatly appreciate the provision of a foster home. The contact details are below. Here are the videos of Nadine Video 1 Video 2

About Nadine

What life with Nadine looks like

Nadine is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. in Germany.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nadine, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nadine?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nadine on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nadine if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nadine already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nadine isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nadine and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
