Adopt Nala

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy

NalaBirthdate: 03.01.2026. Gender: female. Breed: mixed breed. Weight: 7 kg. neutered: no – a little girl dog on the lookout for her happiness. With her cheerful smile and open gaze, Nala immediately spreads good cheer. The little girl dog was born in January 2026 in Greece and was saved from difficult circumstances along with her mother, Maloo, and her siblings. The little family previously lived in an animal hoarding household with too many animals, where the dogs could reproduce uncontrollably. Thankfully, Nala, her siblings, and mother Maloo were brought to safety in time. Today, Nala lives in a loving foster home and finally gets the chance to grow up carefree. Already at the first meeting, it becomes clear how open, friendly, and people-oriented Nala is. She loves being close to people, wants to be everywhere, and enjoys every bit of attention. With her loving and cheerful nature, she immediately wins the hearts of people. Optically, Nala is simply charming. Her bright fur, floppy ears, and cheerful expression make her a true little mood-lifting dog. Of course, Nala is still very much at the beginning of her life and has to learn many things. Walks, everyday noises, life in a home, and the small dog basics are still new to her. Therefore, we wish for her loving people with patience, time, and heart who enjoy growing with a young dog and showing her the world. When it comes to other dogs, Nala is very social and compatible. She could therefore easily move into an existing pack as a second dog. For Nala, we wish for a loving home where she can be accepted as a true family member. A home with a garden or access to nature would certainly be wonderful for the little Nala. Nala is vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, has her blue EU pet passport, and travels with all required documents to Germany. If Nala’s cheerful look touches your heart and you can imagine giving this special little girl dog a loving home, we look forward to your message. We will gladly send you a Self-Information Form and answer all questions about Nala and the adoption. As the well-being of our dogs is very important to us, we place our foster children with potential forever homes. Perhaps Nala is exactly the little companion who will bring a little more joy, warmth, and love into your home every day. For more photos of Nala, see the following link: Contact: Klaudia :

About Nala

What life with Nala looks like

Nala is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Hundesuche Tiere in Not Bayern in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nala, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nala?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hundesuche Tiere in Not Bayern handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nala on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nala if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Hundesuche Tiere in Not Bayern will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nala already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nala isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hundesuche Tiere in Not Bayern early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nala and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
