Narla

Mixed Breed Cat · Female

hi everyone! My name is Narla, My personality: I am a sweet girl who can be shy at first but as soon as I hear human voices and see you coming to see me I completely change. I am a very affectionate cat who loves fusses, I like to stand on you to give you the best head buts and show you how much I love you. My ideal home: I would love a home that is relatively calm but has people around to spend lots of time with me. I have lived with dogs before and I could again with slow introductions, I am not sure if I would like a cat friend just yet. I could live with children who are aged 10+ and will understand they need to be calm around me. Access to outdoors: I would having access to outdoors but I could happily be an indoor only cat. Toileting: I am litter trained, I prefer wood litter. Did you know: Black and white is possibly the most common cat colour, Estimates vary, but some experts say that 70% or more of all cats are black and white. My adoption fee is £125

About Narla

What life with Narla looks like

Narla is a adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at Rain Rescue in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Narla, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Narla?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rain Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Narla on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Narla if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Rain Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Narla already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Narla isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rain Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Narla and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (the shelter's own language). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
