Nelly – 4 year old Female

Boston Terrier Β· Female Β· Adult Β· 4 years

🐾🩷 Meet Nelly – Your New Best Friend! 🩷🐾 Hi everyone, I’m Nelly! 🐢 I’m a 4 year and 6 month old Boston Terrier x Collie, and I’m a loving girl with so much affection to give! πŸ₯Ήβ€οΈ I have a little confession to make… I’m OBSESSED with balls! πŸŽΎπŸ˜‚ Maybe that’s my Collie traits coming out, but I just love a good game of fetch! I have another confession, though… I am a tiny bit chunky! πŸ™ˆπŸ’• I’m looking for a loving home who will help me continue my weight-loss journey, get me out enjoying regular exercise and support me in becoming a healthier, happier girl. 🐾 I could potentially live with another dog following successful introductions, and I could also live with children. The kennel team aren’t quite sure how I’d be around cats just yet, so this would need to be assessed carefully. 🏑🐢 I’m a real sweetheart who deserves a family to call my own, someone who will love me, help me on my journey and enjoy lots of fun times together. Could you be the one to give this ball-loving girl her happy ever after? 🩷πŸ₯Ή If you think you could offer me a loving forever home, please get in touch. I can’t wait to meet you! My adoption fee is Β£350. Lots of love and tail wags, Nelly 🩷🎾🐾

About Nelly – 4 year old Female

What life with Nelly – 4 year old Female looks like

Nelly – 4 year old Female is a very small adult boston terrier dog waiting at Rain Rescue in United Kingdom.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" β€” quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures β€” to let them settle.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nelly – 4 year old Female, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nelly – 4 year old Female?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rain Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nelly – 4 year old Female on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nelly – 4 year old Female if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” Rain Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nelly – 4 year old Female already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nelly – 4 year old Female isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rain Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nelly – 4 year old Female and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
