Born around 2015, she stands at 58 cm and weighs 34 kg, originally hailing from Romania. There, she was a breeding dog before being rehomed to us in Germany. For five years, she lived a stable life in a family—until a sudden change in her life pulled her away. Today, Nelly is fully integrated into shelter life and demonstrates how much inner calm and adaptability she brings. People meet Nelly openly, uncomplicated, and very affectionate. She is cuddly without being pushy—present, composed, and sovereign. With fellow animals, she is compatible and willingly takes on the quiet "motherly" role in the group, being respected and providing security. However, cats are not part of her circle of friends. Health-wise, Nelly brings two manageable issues: a mild urinary incontinence, which is very well managed medicinally (about 25 € monthly, no running out), and age-related arthritis. She occasionally needs pain medication, but not on a regular basis. Nelly is house-trained, can be left alone, and is absolutely suitable for everyday life. She is beginner-friendly and wishes for a home with as few stairs as possible—ideally, no more than the first floor. Hündin geb. ca. 2015 PFLEGESTELLE UND/ODER PATEN GESUCHT! Nelly ist eine beeindruckende Hündin mit Geschichte, Stabilität und ganz viel Herz. Geboren ca. 2015, 58 cm groß und 34 kg schwer, stammt sie ursprünglich aus Rumänien. Dort war sie eine Zuchthündin, bevor sie über uns nach Deutschland vermittelt wurde. Fünf Jahre lebte sie fest in einer Familie – bis ein Schicksalsschlag sie erneut aus dem gewohnten Leben gerissen hat. Heute ist Nelly wieder vollständig im Tierheimalltag integriert und zeigt dabei, wie viel innere Ruhe und Anpassungsfähigkeit sie mitbringt. Menschen begegnet Nelly offen, unkompliziert und sehr zugewandt. Sie ist verschmust, ohne aufdringlich zu sein – präsent, gelassen, souverän. Mit Artgenossen ist sie verträglich und übernimmt in der Gruppe gern die ruhige „Muttirolle“, wird respektiert und gibt Sicherheit. Katzen gehören allerdings nicht zu ihrem Freundeskreis. Gesundheitlich bringt Nelly zwei gut händelbare Themen mit: eine leichte Urininkontinenz, die medikamentös sehr gut eingestellt ist (ca. 25 € monatlich, kein Auslaufen), sowie altersbedingte Arthrose.
