Hat er dieses erst einmal aufgebaut, entpuppt er sich als absolut kuscheliger Zeitgenosse, der die Nähe zu seinen Menschen sehr genießt und entspannte Spaziergänge über alles liebt. Mit Artgenossen ist er nach Sympathie verträglich. Gesundheitlich bringt Nelson eine Besonderheit mit: Er hat nur noch ein Auge, das regelmäßig Augentropfen benötigt, um den Augeninnendruck zu regulieren. Da sein eingeschränktes Sichtfeld ihn in einer turbulenteren Umwelt manchmal etwas unsicher macht, wünschen wir uns für ihn ein ruhiges, ländliches Zuhause.
