He is very sweet but nervous, he will need a patient home. You can win him round with food! He would suit a young child free home or with kids 10+. He’s looking for a wife-bun to settle down with and we’re sure he’s desperate to find a new companion after losing his wife-bun. Likes nibbling sticks, digging, tunnelling. Roaming time in the garden during day light hours. He used to spend time with his bunny companion behind the raised beds – lounging, digging, eating. Enjoys scrambling through the tube and other narrow passageways. Hides under the hutch (where it is also very cool on a warm day).HISTORY: 2023 He was abandoned. Left behind to perish. He was rescued by the RSPCA. Birmingham RSPCA branch took care of him for 6 months then he was transferred to our branch. 2024 He was adopted but he recently lost his companion and his owner isn’t in a position to take on another rabbit, so he was rehomed in August 2026. Unfortunately that home didn’t work out as bonding with another rabbit wasn’t successful. He was rather overweight on arrival so is on a diet!Indoor housing requirement is a minimum of 60 square feet of floor space 24/7.Outdoor housing requirement is a minimum 6ft shed/house or 6 x 2 x 2 hutch with a minimum of 60 sq. feet of secure covered floor space, normally a run and it has to be 3ft in height attached securely to the rabbit house, with ideally but not mandatory, the freedom to a secure garden/alternative area for stimulation; exercise, space and enrichment are most important!Please read this information on suitable accommodation : you’d be interested in sharing your home with Nero please email for an application form.
