Gentle, sensitive, and brave – Nils has survived what no puppy should ever experience. At just about one year old, he is already a little fighter: He was rescued as a tiny puppy from the killing in Zalău, Romania – a place where the lives of many dogs end before they even begin. But Nils was lucky. He was allowed to live. Today, he shows himself as a cautious but curious young pup who, despite his difficult past, still hasn't completely lost his faith in the good. With a little patience and heart, this reserved little one can become a loyal, clingy companion. Nils is a handsome, medium-sized male dog in development and will likely reach a medium adult size. He is a special young pup – searching for his place in life. He has loving eyes, a gentle nature, and a cautious demeanor that immediately touches the heart. In his familiar surroundings, he already shows small progress: he allows himself to be touched, makes cautious contact, and enjoys gentle touches when he realizes that you mean him no harm. He is still shy and unsure, especially with new people or situations. If something is unsettling to him, he can go into defense out of fear, but never out of aggression – simply because he doesn't know that people can also be kind. With a calm voice, patience, and positive reinforcement, Nils will open up – step by step. For Nils, we wish for empathetic, finely-tuned people who already have some dog experience and understand that trust takes time. A safe only-dog home would be a great gift for him – as a playmate and teacher for all that he still has to learn. Children should already be older and responsible in the household. Nils still hasn't experienced life in a home – he must learn about house training, household noises, or being left alone. But with loving, consistent companionship and patience, he will master all of that. Now is the moment to give Nils a chance! He has been waiting in our private shelter for more than half a year. A place that is safe – but not a home for a young dog. Between noise, crowding, and stress, the risk grows that his insecurity will solidify. That's why we hope so much that Nils will find his family soon, before he retreats completely into himself. He is still young, learnable, and ready to discover the sunny sides of life – with people who expect nothing from him except that he simply be himself. Nils is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. He travels with an EU pet passport and can be transported after a positive health check. Der etwa 1,5 Jahre alte Nils hat sich sehr gut auf seiner Pflegestelle in Deutschland eingelebt. Anfangs war alles neu und beängstigend für ihn, doch mit liebevoller Begleitung und klaren Strukturen hat er immer mehr Vertrauen gewonnen und ist mittlerweile ein ausgelassener Junghund, der lange Spaziergänge und Flitzen mit Hundekumpels liebt. Mit anderen Hunden ist Nils ausgesprochen sozial und orientiert sich sehr an den beiden Hunden auf der Pflegestelle. Er ist absolut stubenrein, fährt problemlos Auto, auch längere Strecken sind kein Problem. Mit fremden Menschen ist Nils noch immer vorsichtig, taut aber schnell auf – da hilft ihm seine Neugier- aber auch die anderen Hunde. Sie geben ihm Sicherheit und helfen ihm, neue Situationen besser einzuordnen. Deshalb suchen wir für ihn unbedingt ein Zuhause mit einem souveränen Ersthund. Optisch ist Nils ein echter Hingucker. Sein helles, cremefarbenes Fell mit den warmen, honigfarbenen Abzeichen im Gesicht, seine sanften, braunen Augen und sein freundliches Lächeln verleihen ihm einen ganz besonderen Charme. ❤️ Für Nils wünschen wir uns Menschen mit Geduld, Ruhe und Einfühlungsvermögen. Menschen, die ihn nicht bedrängen, ihm aber gleichzeitig Orientierung geben. Gerade klare Strukturen und souveräne Führung helfen ihm dabei, zur Ruhe zu kommen und Sicherheit zu gewinnen. Lässt man ihn hingegen alle Entscheidungen selbst treffen, ist er schnell überfordert. Wir sind uns sicher, dass Nils mit den richtigen Menschen weiter über sich hinauswachsen wird. Wer ihm Zeit schenkt, wird erleben dürfen, wie aus einem zunächst vorsichtigen Junghund ein fröhlicher, lebenslustiger und treuer Begleiter wird, der mit seinen Menschen gemeinsam die Welt entdecken möchte. Nils ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Seinen EU-Heimtierausweis bringt er selbstverständlich mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle gegen eine Schutzgebühr in sein Zuhause ziehen.
