Im März 23 kam Nina Sofie im rifugio der LIDA an. Ihr Körper zeigte Male, die auf kein schönes Lebens bisher schließen ließen: eine verwundete Pfote und Nina Sofie war extrem abgemagert. Nina Sofie wurde gefunden, als sie ihren toten Welpen noch bewachte...... Die Blutabnahme für den Erststatus war für den nächsten Tag geplant. Dann ging alles Schlag auf Schlag – der Gesundheitszustand von Nina Sofie verschlechterte sich rapide. Die Laborwerte waren reihenweise aus der Norm und nicht nur eine starke Anämie als Folge der Ehrlichiose und der Verdacht auf Leishmaniose waren das Problem. Zu all dem Übel kam nun auch noch eine eitrige Gebärmutterentzündung dazu und der Gesundheitszustand von Nina Sofie war so schlecht, dass an eine Narkose bzw. eine Operation nicht zu denken war. Es musste nun also versucht werden, die Infektion mit Medikamenten in den Griff zu bekommen. Nach 1 Woche war Nina Sofie über den Berg! 2 Monate später allerdings verschlechterte sich ihr Gesundheitszustand erneut und nun sprachen die Ergebnisse auch eine klare Sprache. Die Leishmaniose war ausgebrochen. Sofort wurde die Behandlung eingeleitet und 4 Wochen später sah man schon erste Erfolge. Nina Sofie sprach gut auf die Behandlung an. Alle Hürden hat diese nette Hündin also genommen, aber doch nicht, um den Rest ihres Lebens im Tierheim verbringen zu müssen!?!?!?! Nina Sofie ist freundlich, sie sucht die Nähe des Menschen, hatte mit allen Artgenossen im ambulatorio Freundschaft geschlossen und wartet nun noch immer auf das ganz große Glück in ihrem Leben. Bei Fragen zu unseren Schützlingen, oder aber wenn Sie NINA SOFIE einen Platz als Familienmitglied auf einer Pflegestelle oder Endstelle anbieten möchten, dann melden Sie sich bitte bei: . Leishmaniose – keine Panik bitte! Auch wenn die Krankheit natürlich einen gewissen Schrecken mit sich bringt, so können inzwischen auch Hunde mit dieser Infektion bzw. Erkrankung bei rechtzeitiger Erkennung und optimaler Behandlung ein ganz normales Lebensalter erreichen. Sollten SIE sich entscheiden einem Hund mit diesem Handicap ein Zuhause schenken zu wollen – der Verein wird Sie selbstverständlich engmaschig begleiten, den Therapieplan für Sie erstellen und wenn notwendig auch bei den anfallenden Kosten unterstützen.
